Like any country, micronations also attach a certain importance to the creation of their stamps to illustrate their culture or to commemorate the great moments of their history.

Although stamps cannot be franked to be sent by postal services, philately also finds its enthusiasts in the micronational world and they contribute to its development. This is done in the form of museums or digital exhibitions that can be visited on certain social networks.
Among the most remarkable collections of the Micro-World, we note that of the MicroMusée de la Philatélie Micronationaliste which was created by the Republic of Padrhom, under the leadership of its founder, Mr. Michel Vichat. This MicroMuseum is located in Pessac in the suburbs of Bordeaux in France. The online micronational encyclopedia Mikrowiki also lists many collections of stamps issued by micronations. You can also go to the group "Micronation Postal Association Org" on Facebook. The group is administered by Mr. John Farr, former President of the Republic of West Who. You can browse a gallery of photos of very rich and varied micronational stamps.

Do micronations post their mail with their own stamps? Well, it happens very frequently that micronational mail is posted with both the stamps and stamps of the issuing micronation and those of the country of the post office in question. The micronation stamps and stamps will then be positioned at the bottom left while the stamp and stamp of the country of origin of the mail will be positioned at the top right. And this works very well in most cases.
" It's not necessarily the best known that are at the top of the list."
Which micronations issue the most stamps? The answer may be surprising because it is not necessarily the best known that are at the top of this list. On the American side, the Republic of West Who has proven to be more productive than Westarctica and Molossia. On the European side, it is the Parliamentary Monarchy of Duckionary that passes in front of the Republic of Padrhom and Fishtown New Territory, the two micronations historically most invested in philately in Europe. Still in Europe, the Grand Duchy of Nossfolk imagines much more than the simple issue of stamps by projecting its distribution network with logoed vehicles. Another nice surprise comes to us from the African continent where several micronations federated in the State of Nova Troie demonstrate great creativity. In Asia, the production of stamps remains sporadic but progresses without one micronation standing out more than another.

At a time when digitalization threatens the existence of stamps and physical currencies, micronationalist philately seems, paradoxically, to have a bright future ahead of it. More than a simple means of postage, these stamps remain one of the rare cultural expressions accessible to micronations, allowing them to assert their identity and leave a tangible mark on history. As long as there are enthusiasts to design, collect and admire them, micronational stamps will continue to exist, miniature witnesses of an imagined but proudly claimed sovereignty.
